سيم بند تخت انعطاف پذير در محيط هاي خشک و براي برقراري ارتباط تجهيزات پرتابل استفاده مي شود.اين سيم انعطاف پذيري بسيار بالايي دارد و در محيط هايي که خطر ضربه هاي مکانيکي کمي دارد استفاده مي شود. اين سيم براي دستگاه هاي پخت و پز و تجهيزاتي که در دماهاي بالا کار مي کنند مورد استفاده قرار نمي گيرد. استفاده از اين سيم در طول هاي بالاي 2 متر مجاز نيست.
